How’s the intelligence - still great?

Today is finally Nightmare in silver day, for Doctor Who!When I first started the build on this suit, back at the end of February, I really thought I had a chance of finishing it by today. Then about 4 weeks ago I saw just how cool this looked as a bust. So rather than continue sculpting the bottom half of the body, I sat down and started sharpening up the details for the neck and the chest. And as of right now, these 2 pieces are complete, and sitting in silicone. Now once I sculpt something, it gets molded, and I get a casting of something that can be worn. While that may or may not work for some, it does not for me. Though I can sculpt, I have not yet mastered it to the point of the surface of the clay itself being perfect. So I take that casting & work it like crazy, until it’s all smooth and even.So while I could have sculpted the remaining parts in that time, and been able to wear a full suit today, it would not have been pristine in overall shape.I am also glad that I did not start molding any of the final pieces until this week. Now I have better promo pictures as reference, I get a better overall feel for everything. Actually, the only differences I see now are in the helmet. And I’ve been sitting on that since Christmas now. But, that too will eventually be changed. But first, I’ve got a suit to finish!
